An ode to both baseball and romance novels, KT Hoffman’s debut is funny, flirty, and brimming with joy. He details everything to perfection from the baseball diamond to the open-door scenes, in an illustrative and witty manner, yet still full of tenderness.
Underhill writes a beautiful message about not needing to put a label on who you are or who you love. I felt this book did an excellent job illustrating the turmoil that all teens go through in their search for identity.
The writing is beautiful, thought provoking and filled with an engaging twist that makes this book even more special! This book took me by surprise, brought me to tears and ultimately left me wanting to hug my babies extra tight.
