The Women- A Book Review
While the first half of the book is emotionally gripping and drags you in, it is the second half and the portrayal of PTSD that makes this a five-star read for me.

There’s a formula that guarantees I will love a book: spicy, based in New York City and a career choice I could’ve never imagined but immediately wish I had considered. Not Another Love Song captures all of these things and then expands on them with a beautiful tribute to the art of classical music.
The yearning, the quiet actions of love, the messy and honest conversations, the baggage they each brought into the relationship, and how they handled it together. Perfection, beautifully written perfection. I was brought to tears of joy multiple times while reading this book. It began during the author’s note in the beginning and never stopped
In the Collected Regrets of Clover, Mikki Branner explores what it means to have a well-lived life and the seemingly disinterested approach we (especially those of us in Western countries) take towards death. The ability to accept death is such a rare but beautiful trait and something I wish I could provide to more of my patients and their families. The writing is excellent and easy to follow, with few to no holes. Our librarian’s inner turmoil felt logical and their heartbreak real. Margary and Alice have incredible evolution as they both contest society’s ideal vision of a proper wife.
This novel completely enthralled me. Check & Mate’s rivals-to-lovers build felt organic with a slow burn that frankly had me questioning whether they would become lovers at all.
An ode to both baseball and romance novels, KT Hoffman’s debut is funny, flirty, and brimming with joy. He details everything to perfection from the baseball diamond to the open-door scenes, in an illustrative and witty manner, yet still full of tenderness.
She finds Iwan, an optimistic and decidedly attractive aspiring chef, in her apartment and finds it difficult to follow the second rule. That is not her only problem; however, the Iwan she wants is seven years in the past.
