In the Collected Regrets of Clover, Mikki Branner explores what it means to have a well-lived life and the seemingly disinterested approach we (especially those of us in Western countries) take towards death. The ability to accept death is such a rare but beautiful trait and something I wish I could provide to more of my patients and their families. This book touched a piece of me I rarely get to share with those outside of work, and I hope those who read 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 feel a pull towards a life filled with fewer regrets and more living.

The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes – A Book Review
The writing is excellent and easy to follow, with few to no holes. Our librarian’s inner turmoil felt logical and their heartbreak real. Margary and Alice have incredible evolution as they both contest society’s ideal vision of a proper wife.
Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood- A Book Review
This novel completely enthralled me. Check & Mate’s rivals-to-lovers build felt organic with a slow burn that frankly had me questioning whether they would become lovers at all.
The Prospects by KT Hoffman – Love on the Outfield: A Review
An ode to both baseball and romance novels, KT Hoffman’s debut is funny, flirty, and brimming with joy. He details everything to perfection from the baseball diamond to the open-door scenes, in an illustrative and witty manner, yet still full of tenderness.
Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston – A Magic Apartment, Lemons, and Romance: A Review
She finds Iwan, an optimistic and decidedly attractive aspiring chef, in her apartment and finds it difficult to follow the second rule. That is not her only problem; however, the Iwan she wants is seven years in the past.
Fangirl Down by Tessa Bailey – A golf romance : A review
With salacious and witty banter, a bad boy athlete in need of a career rescue, and an independent, kind-hearted fan turned caddy, Fan Girl Down had the making of a knockout read. Yet, as my first full Tessa Bailey novel (I did enjoy her novella Same Time Next Year), this fell short.
Series Spotlight: Shades of Magic Trilogy by V.E. Schwab
After falling in love with her incredible writing on Addie La Rue, I was surprised to find V.E. Shwab’s The Shades of Magic series on Kindle Unlimited
Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra – A Frightened & Underestimated : A Review
This book is one of the most terrifying books I have ever read. I was petrified to turn the page, and I was unable to sleep and wasn’t even sure if I could finish the book, yet it was one of my top reads this year.
Idea of You by Robinne Lee – Age-gap Romance with a Pop Star and Now a Movie: A Review
I proceed to read this book in less than a day! Our star, FMC Soléne, is a sexy, intelligent girl boss and divorcé pursued by Hayes Campbell, a 20 year old boy band sensation. Their whirlwind romance gave me such butterflies that I could not put this book down (maybe I have been listening to So High School too much, but it was just #swoon).
